It's been great being back home. I've spent some time with Josh which was amazing. We are so addicted to each other and being back in his arms made me the happiest girl in the world.
I learned a lot in Costa Rica. Not just about the ecosystem but about myself too. And each experience like this reminds me how fragile our world is and even angers me about humanity's selfish expansion...
I have to turn in an exam (take-home) on Friday but then I'm done for the next week until spring term starts and I'll be taking 5 classes plus PE in order to graduate early. My dad is in Hawaii for a MONTH overseeing the new house construction so I need to keep my mom company next week. We're visiting my grandma as well. She's been worrying about my aunt who is starting dialysis and not doing so well.
So, the most exciting recent news - Josh and I have a new hamster!! He's a black bear hamster named Mango and he's so cute! You can see pictures in the Gallery. He'll probably mostly stay with Josh since I'm not supposed to have pets in the dorms, but right now he's hiding with me here... I can't wait to bring him to Josh on Friday and play with him!!
